If I had a dragon, he would probably be named Albert, but I’d call him Al… or Bert. My dragon, if he were anything like me, would be melancholy with an affinity for smoldering; at times laid-back and at others temperamental, a serious jokester, rough on the outside and gooey on the inside.
He would have hobbies like shedding his old scales, filing his obnoxiously long toenails so they don’t scrape the kitchen floor (again!), and devouring ice cream even though he knows it’s horrible for his flamethrowing gullet.

My inner dragon finds joy in writing, not only this blog but also books. I am preparing a fantasy series for publishing; some of the books are written (but need editing), and some are still swimming around in my cerebellum. I will be looking to you, my readers, for input. So join me and my dragons on this writing journey.

While you contemplate the vital question above, let me recommend a favorite book of mine, The Westing Game, by Ellen Raskin. This is a YA mystery I read in elementary school. It’s the book that made me fall in love with books.
Feel free to leave a comment about what types of things you would like me to blog about in the future. Should I blog about how to write? Or do you want to hear about my novels? Or maybe woke book reviews where I reveal how woke a book is so you don’t have to spend $29 to find out. (psst! pick this last one!)
